Geno Delafose is finally back with his long-awaited 5th cd - Le Cowboy Creole - released on August 14th, 2007 by Times Square Records.    

Recorded in Crowley, Louisiana at the legendary Master Trak Enterprises - the disc was cut at the same studio and using the same engineer who tracked Geno's father John Delafose's classic debut Eunice Playboys record Zydeco Man no less than 27 years earlier.   The result is a timeless new cd that captures the distinctive classic-era Creole zydeco and Cajun sound while bringing in an ample-blend of country, rock and r&b to keep the groove fresh and modern.
